Floyd vs Spinks, Mosley, & Oscar?

Some say that there is no way Floyd will fight again in Febuary but I disagree. They have that PPV date for him because it is on his Bithday. The November fight is on the 4th & the Feburary fight is on like the 24, so its still 3 months & 20 days later which is basically like 4 months.

I was thinking that after Spinks then Floyd would fight Ouma because Floyd has already fought 3 Southpaws in a row and would be ready. Then I said he wouldnt because he wants to get ready for Oscar & probally fight one righty before then since he hasnt fought one in so long. Ouma would also be too dangerous before a Oscar fight.

I said there is no way that Floyd would go back to 147 & have to come right back to 154 for Oscar. Then I started thinking about Shane. Shane said that he would start training again in November & he is going back to 147. I think if Floyd fights at 154 then Shane might want to fight him there next. I think Shane probally realizes that 147 will be harder to make then he thinks. He said 2 years ago that he couldnt make the weight & now he can? He also looked like **** his last time there. I think he would take that Febuary fight with Floyd.

By then though, Oscar might not let Shane take it. He would let Shane do it now because its far away but right before his fight it might be too much of a risk. If Shane doesnt take it then I think Floyd would fight Margarito but it would have to be at 154. If that fight doesnt come off then its definatly Rivera. I think Floyd in Febuary will fight Shane, Margarito, or Rivera all at 154. Then fight Oscar.

After that he will have won 3 fights in a row at 154 and will then be ready for a Showdown with Winky. He wont fight Winky in Febuary because thats way too much of a risk & you cant blame him for that. I actually think that if he wins these next 3 then he might really consider fighting Taylor at 160 because I just dont think Taylor puts fear in these guys like Hopkins because he's so uncoodinated & still seems to be green. I could see Floyd having just that one fight and may come in as he does at 154. I think he would definatly fight this Taylor but the problem is Taylor will also have had 3 fights by then & will have been even bigger & better so thats a long shot.

After those 3 or 4 fights if you include Winky, I think Floyd goes back down to 147 to finish off his career and silence all the critics or should I say HATERS

I like Floyd but you are delusional/biased. 154 is not a good weight for Floyd and I could definitely see him not fighting in February... what safer way to preserve an undefeated record than to not fight at all? Even if he does fight you still haven't addressed why he bailed on 147 to fight at 154 (and don't say titles in different divisions because DLH holds a title so considering he was going to fight him he would have been able to attain his 5th title in 5th weight class anyway). Furthermore you are smoking crack if you think Floyd can or will fight at 160 and even crazier if you think he can beat Jermain Taylor. Taylor may not have looked all that impressive against 2 of the better fighters this era, but what does that prove other than he fights top competition. And Taylor uncoordinated...he is incredibly athletic. In fact Steward has said that Jermain relies too much on his natural athleticism. If you mean to say that Taylor could stand to improve his repetoire (outside the 1-2) I can agree with you. I used to defend Floyd on these threads but fighting Cory Spinks is an indefensible position PERIOD.
