Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte: If Chisora Is Motivated, I Think He'll Knock Usyk Out

Dillian Whyte doesn't think Oleksandr Usyk is capable of beating Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury. The heavyweight contender wouldn't be surprised, either, if British rival Dereck Chisora knocks out Usyk before the former undisputed cruiserweight champion can secure a heavyweight title shot. Whyte broke down the Usyk-Chisora fight for a segment with promoter Eddie Hearn and Sky Sports' Adam Smith, which debuted Wednesday on Matchroom Boxing's YouTube channel.

I think Usyk handles Chisora in much the same way he handled Joyce.

Should be entertaining, especially early on but Usyk by decision is probably the most likely outcome.

A motivated Chisora though is far better than his record suggests.

Never truly know, usyk is facing his first real test at heavy. However chisora has never knocked out any top fighter and let's face it, the fact he is still being mentioned as a heavyweight contender is comical. Whyte crushed him, was getting beat around the ring by takam.

A lot of this fight depends which chisora we get.

I've said it a thousand times if the Chisora who fought Whyte and the Usyk who fought Chazz turn up it's going to be a long night for Usyk

I don't think all this inactivity is helping Usyk either, this will be his first real opponent since the WBSS

Usyk being a southpaw is a massive factor to consider. Del has gone on record a few times saying he's no time for southpaw's.

It's the reason Fury fought him southpaw in the rematch and that was about as one sided as you can get.

I almost always predict well. people also laughed when I said Fury stops Wilder in a rematch.

I agree that Chirosa can make it entertaining and possibly knock him out if he has the motivation. I do wonder about Usyk lack of fights and ring rust coming into play and if he is putting on more weight because at 215 he is tiny for a heavyweight
