Porter is supposed to say that. He is “supposedly” good friends with Crawford. Just like when Jermell Charlo says Spence beats Crawford. It’s all speculation and conversation until they actually get in the ring. But we do know one thing. Porter got dropped by Spence and that may have cost him the fight.Comment

Unfortunately Crawford will never get the credit he deserves. Spence went 12 rounds with little Mikey. Although he won the fight, he didn't finish him. Crawford may have gotten rocked a couple times, but he applies pressure, make the *********s, and get the fighters out of there. Spence, not so much. He has gone the distance against Porter, even after promising a knockout. Additionally, with Mikey. Come on, you all really see Spence winning against Bud- I think not.Comment

I’m thinking it goes even deeper than just the accident
Something weird about him
Doesn’t look himself even before the accidentComment

Porter, a good analyst.
I've always thought Porter was an excellent analyst regardless of who he is or isn't friends with. He gives an honest, unvarnished opinion and his reasons for that opinion, consistently. I think when he retires one of the networks will grab him up for this talent and knowledge.Comment

I get fighters who have fought two guys that are being discussed by fans/media about a fight, having an opinion about will win. A fighter who has fought both can have detailed feedback on them. However, Porter has only fought Spence, and lost. So I don’t know where his opinion comes from. Also Spence has shown his ability vs better fighters than Crawford. When your resume is full of mediocrity, you will appear to look really good, better than you are. Crawford’s best opponents have been Postol and Khan. So if Porter is going by what he sees in Crawford fights, it’s not a fair assessment.
If you give Spence fights vs Horn, Kavaliouskas, Benavidez, Khan, Indongo and Felix Diaz, he to would look extremely good, way better than he is.
I would say looking at their last 5 opponents, Spence has fought the better opponents. Crawford on the other hand, is taking very safe fights. Beyond safe.
Manny and Floyd made 147 the hot division. All eyes have been on the division for years. Boxing fans, especially Americans, want these two to be great so bad, because they want a superstar to get behind, as well as a fight they can crown a "superfight."
An ELITE talent at welterweight is Sugar Ray Leonard. Both Spence and Crawford are a clear step below.Comment

Lmao!!! Porter is trying to get Crawford fanbase.. They know that they (Crawford, Porter) are friends and will never fight.. And porter already gain lots of Crawford fans when he fought Spence.. So now Porter is going full commitment to not lose his Crawford fans... If Porter picks Spence.. He loses the Crawford fans he just got.. It was a smart move by porter.. But in truth.. Porter knows that what u do against 140 pounders and 147 pounders is a big difference! Ask Mikey Garcia.. Mikey use to go toe to toe with Crawford in Sparring.. Mikey dethroned 135 champ, then 140 champ, then Adrien Broner.. Then jumped up to 147 to face Spence and got severely bullied. The same will happen to Crawford.. Unless he can get a little bigger and stronger.. I admit Crawford has talent.. he's One of my favorites.. But If that weak mf dropped him.. Spence will definitely drop him.. No doubt! An the way Spence is talking.. Hes in beast mode.. Hungrier than ever... an Spence reports that he is better than before.. Which means he will be better than the version Mikey and porter faced.. Which is bad for Crawford.. I love bud.. But I gotta call a spade a spade.Comment

Porter: Crawford would beat Spence
This guy sounds so dumb. He said Thurman couldn't beat Pacquiao but he can even though he lost to Thurman and now he believes he can beat Crawford but Spence can't but Spence beat him. Part of being a champion is admitting you lost. This guy has 3 loses but he doesn't believe anyone can beat him. SmdhComment
