World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman believes there is less pressure on Deontay Wilder, 34-years-old, as he heads to the trilogy fight with Tyson Fury. The trilogy fight was scheduled for July 18, but it was quickly pushed back to the target month of October - due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Less pressure? If he doesn't win, he is potentially out of the top 3 heavyweight picture. He can't afford to lose unless he truly doesn't care and only wants that last big paycheck...

Wilder is finished. Stick a fork in him. He's done. Casuals thought they had the biggest puncher in history. Because they thought he was beating the best just because they were challenging for a title. Truth is they weren't ranked by any other organization. And barley ranked by the WBC. Please. Arthur spilka, a former cruiserweight. Drummer boy, washed up arreola. In tested and unproven Washington. Now look at him.

Sulaiman is talking gibberish. Plenty to lose. If he gets blown out quick or gets dominated over the duration, then I'd say Deontay's standing among the top level guys takes a massive tumble. If he loses competitive or close then he could potentially rebound but I doubt it.

He needs to win. Everything to gain back otherwise he becomes the opponent until proven otherwise.

Good points by Mr. Sulaiman! The warrior spirit that Wilder has developed through his trials & determined efforts can only make him better... Throughout his 40+ fights he’s always been motivated to perform in ‘blasting out’ fashion. Which is no small feat considering his boney frame and the naysayer population that love to hate him..

He had performances that were never motivated by getting the upper hand thru cheating, the upper hand was only gained thru “motivation” to take care of his sweet baby girl! ...Wilder had three fights btw canceled due to the cheating & cheating philosophy that was discovered in those three cheating opponents - talk about a reckless universal cheating philosophy!!

Thru it all(?), Wilders encouragement direction and bravery was still kept intact. Although it seems some frustrations did almost get the best of him, especially over the commercial protected robot safe on the island that Lennox & SRLeonard had to call out....

Hopefully Wilder can bring in Naazim Richardson into his newly revised camp, and have him call out Cheater Fury and his bionic GLOVE at the most inconvenient time - like Richardson did Margarito & Trinidad!

It’d be colossal as everyone of his fans who see ‘nothing wrong’ with those wrestlemania **** moves choke back their “free” drinks and tears - as he’s caught palm handed!!

Hopefully Sulaiman has a voice in getting a good ref that won’t allow **** tactics this time around....I can hardly wait!!!

If Wilder comes in wearing nada, like fully naked, he might have a chance...

read between the lines, Mauricio is saying Wilder is at rock bottom.

Quote: otherwise his career is over.

                    No pressure though.
