I agree. He had Spence Jr confused through the first 6 or 7. He couldn’t handle Shawn. Many observers ringside saw it like 115-112 or 114-113 or something like that for Shawn. He usually fights terrible. Out there playing free safety instead of boxing. But he was on against Spence Jr.

        I wouldn’t call it a robbery. I’ll say a gift.

You gave a good account of yourself. You are right up there. But you did not beat him.

Most people thought Porter won, yes. Was a close fight but Porter edged it.

Without the knockdown you could call it a robbery with the knockdown at best for Spence I think a draw would’ve been fair. Shawn pushes the pace landed the better shots. Spence didn’t adjust at all or make changes his game plan was the same through the entire fight. That’s the difference between someone like Spence and mayweather. You may come out and win some early rounds but they make adjustments and dominate the second half of the fight.

Love ya Shawn, but I don’t think any of the top welters will be getting “a boxing lesson” from you.

I like Shawn, always comes to fight and as a fan I appreciate the heck out of him. He gave a real good account for himself in that fight, but he lost. It was a close fight but that knockdown sealed it for Spence. Porter needs to work on being effective with his bullying style, far too often he smothers his work and while he is pushing his opponent around it doesn't look all that good because he isn't landing clean shots

I think Porter can consider himself a little unlucky, even with the knockdown in the Spence fight.

He's not taking any top WW to school with boxing lessons but on the same note his style is more than a handful for any top WW too.

No way Crawford is getting in with Porter, too high risk, low reward. Must be absolutely draining going 12 rounds with Porter. That physicality and strength could even be too much for Crawford in the championship rounds. Probably raise a few eyebrows but it wouldn't surprise me if Porter even forced a late stoppage after being down on the cards.

                      This is spot on
I’d agree that if he can find a way to mix boxing a little more with his bulling he’d have better chances in these so-called close or closer fights
