If GGG knows or has figured out Canelo in two fights, then why doesn’t he Unify and trump the “mando” with Szeremeta?

I have defended GGG in the past but I can't defend him passing on a third Canelo fight in favor of a mandatory. I don't understand his trainer's logic either because in the interview he was speaking as if Golovkin is 28 and not 38. Every fight means another grueling training camp so if I were GGG, I would go straight to the third fight, especially with boxing as a whole on an extended layoff due to Covid-19.

The only explanation I can come up with is that DAZN already gauranteed GGG his payday for the mandatory. I completely understand wanting to make (easy) money whenever possible but I think DAZN needs to pump the brakes and demand that Golovkin take the third fight. They did what they had to do to get Canelo on board so DAZN needs to insist on getting the fight they paid for NEXT (Canelo-GGG 3).
