There was nothing clear about it, the ref was a joke, one of the knockdowns wasn't a knockdown and the fight itself was razor close.

I personally thought Parker won but can't complain about Whyte getting the decision cos it was that close and definitely worthy of a rematch.

I would have thought a title shot is Whyte's priority.

Perhaps if Parker was 40+ years old or 6 inches shorter he might be allowed to take on whyte.

Or maybe if he had 9 losses like chisora he would be worthy
Totally agree, Whyte is a bum. I don't think Parker should be fighting bums like him, especially after losing to that bum. He should fight FA or go after Hunter.

Apparently not. Didn't even want to fight for 3 of them and millions of dollars

I'm not a Whyte fan but he was clearly low balled by AJ, besides that fight is always there for him. Wilder was a far more appealing offer. As if he was to beat Wikder he could command a far better cut at the table with AJ for all the marbles. That was the plan.

Parker's manager has done a brilliant job securing hims some great pay days over in the UK, shame he decided not to throw any decent leather. If he did, he might not be in the background sounding desperate.

He wasn't low balled. They have same promotional team so it would have been a fair offer. They aren't going to screw there own fighters.

Whyte never had any offers to fight wilder. Not sure what he would be waiting for? Or why wilder would fight a bum like Whyte who avoided several ordered Mando eliminators.

Its quite unbelievable anyone would defend any boxer who turns down a shot at 3 world titles. U must be from uk?

Of course he was low balled with a 'cheeky offer.' The fact that they are both represented by Matchroom is by the by, do you honestly think Hearn would challenge AJ, demanding Whyte gets a fairer cut?

Maybe you're forgetting/don't know that Whyte has topped several UK PPV cards and he's going to want a lot more than a relatively low fixed purse, especially is he's mando for the WBC. He's obviously after a sizable % that AJ wasn't willing to part with.

Whyte's plan was to finally land the Wilder fight, beat him and then unify for a much bigger purse with AJ at somewhere like Wembley stadium for easily 10 x the money originally on offer. Makes perfect sense, he's always backed his style against Wilder.

Again, I'm not even a Whyte fan but going back to your man Parker. Why would Whyte even consider a rematch? Parker needs Whyte 1000% more than Whyte needs Parker. Boxing is like a game of snakes & ladders and Parker's been down a couple of large snakes and is desperate to be where Whyte is at right now.

To be fair to Whyte he owes Parker nothing. Can you imagine Parker rematching Whyte if he got the nod instead? Exactly, he'd have bigger fish to fry. So Parker has to climb some ladders and put the hard yards in, a bit like Whyte has done since his defeat to AJ.

Say what you want about Whyte and I won't argue against a lot of it but he's got far the best resume of any HW who hasn't fought for a title. So why begrudge him his shot if he decides to look forward instead of backwards?
