never cried over a fight....havent cried at all in over a decade.....*******.....but i have gotten very mad after a fighter i like doesnt win....Jones/Tarver II i was as pissed as ever....bout got in a fight w/everyone at the house i was watchin it with....throw my beer bottle out in the middle of the road and threw my lighter against the house next door.....

you probably would have punched me that night because I was going wild and drinking like craaaaaaaaazy. one of my favorite nights in boxing ever.

I'm not a hanky-sniffer like you wusses, but the fact is I did get a lump in my throat after Ali-Spinks II, when a completely spent Ali came to the corner and raised his hand to the crowd after getting the UD. It was a magnificent moment, and you just knew that this great champion with the heart of a lion, had given his last ounce of strength, will and ability to get the victory. And you knew he would never be the same again. A truly memorable moment.

I cried tears of joy when Tarver KO'ed Roy, but they were for Tarver, not seeing Roy get flattened (even though that was nice too)

Watching Ali-Holmes with Cosell's commentary is about as emotional as it gets. Cosell was nearly in tears himself during that fight.
