I've heard his name mentioned by BadBlood, which means he probably isn't any good.

He could be the reincarnation of Mike Tyson and Ruiz would find a way to get me to fall asleep. He should be banned from boxing for the good of the sport. Man I wish he would stay retired. And unfortunately no I haven't seen any of Chagaev.

ive seen clips of him. hes a beast. hits like a monster and he has the tools to go all the way.

he just might be able to KO john the bum ruiz.

Probably not though because Ruiz will hug him to death as usual. Jab and Grab...most exciting style to hit boxing yet.

I like the fact that John keeps on trying in the face of extreme adversity. He's like a ****roach after a nuclear holocaust, and probably a really sensitive guy. I don't enjoy watching him, but I do like him. He's also - sad to say - a legit top 10 heavyweight in 2006.

As much as I hate watching him and the plague he is to the sport, I agree with everything you said. He doesn't seem like an unlikeable guy and the HW division has few "proven" commodities which he is.

id love to see chagaev fight valuev, that would be a good fight IMO

props to ruiz for taking on an opponent much tougher than the champ is willing to
