Canelo vs Betterbieve. Let’s talk about it a bit

    1. It would be @ light heavyweight with a 10 lbs morning rehydration clause(betterbieve can way watever in the fight just like Kovalev. You guys cool with that?
    2. I think Betterbieve should accept a 4 to 6 million offer but truthfully we all know Bob Arum would negotiate much more or take most of it
    3. I think this fight is a bit of a reach from the ggg defense team because in one breath they praise Betterbieve and give him imaginary merit for “saying” he was interested in fighting Usyk @ cruiserweight but then turnaround and call Canelo a ducker for not going immediately into a fight vs Betterbieve after beating kovalev. Bruh if anything Canelo taking that risk is more likely to happen then Betterbieve fighting any cruiserweight ever. Thoughts? Do disagree with anything or would like to add something?

So in other words Canelo should never fight a full fledged opponent without having some sort of adventage via draining the guy through catchweight or allowing the guy to not properly eat after the weigh in.

This is whats wrong with Canelo and why he is disliked by a lot of people, its that all of his fights he gets an advantage one way or another and its not an advantage via wearing pillow gloves or big ass rong, its physically compramising a fighters health before the fight begins. We got that from Pac and Mayweather in their careers but only 1 or two times, but to Canelo, it os a norm to his fights. I've never seen a fighter stack the deck against the opponent like Canelo does.

We are just talking here, just trying to get a feel for how ppl expect this to go down. So it’s no second day weigh in for you. Do you realize he (Betterbieve can rehydrate to watever after the 2nd day weigh in ?

Idk, if he’s not willing to fight lhws without some type of stipulation, he shouldn’t fight in that division...nobody is really expecting it of him. But I guess if they want to have some one off cw fight or whatever, it’s up to them...unfortunately for beterbiev, it’ll most definitely be detrimental to him.

Beterbiev would be one heck of a bridge for canelo to cross.

It appears to me BB is just another take 2-3 punches to land one of his own type fighters. Canelo can use movement and defense to set traps for heavy punches and then move out of the way. If you think about it, it should be no problem for him to do what joshua did. Theoretically that AJ plan was supposed to work even with Ruiz in shape. Canelo can use that plan and if he discovers that he is confident vs BBs power then he can go flat footed and take the fight to the center of the ring

Not saying canelo has no chance, saying it's a big ask. Guy is legit 175 and canelo has not been stung by the power he would bring. Also you make some good points.

                  Butterbutt is 97k v.2.0.

Never moved up in weight to challenge himself.
Never fought anyone in his weight class worth a damn.
Nothing but hype about his power because he Kos nothing but bums
Waiting for the smaller guy to move up to get a payday.
Already has built in excuses incase he loses because of his age.

This is all 97k all over again.
