Good for him that he believes in himself, what else should he say. Though the reality is that he is still far from being considered an elite.

I lost my hope in Adam. Not because he was KOd by some Helenius, but because it appeared that he had no iron chin. Without iron chin his style of fighting is useless. He surely can win the rematch but there are fat chances he will get the belt battle. I am very sad, but that's the truth.

He is getting too much punishment. he should have cashed out against Joshua last year and retired.

The truth is really almost no heavyweight can rely on a chin, even if it is iron.

They’re just too big and strong that it’ll get cracked at some point if you take one too many shots.

Guys like Vitali were known to have an iron chin but a lot of that is down to the fact he never even got hit so often. If he got cracked as often as Kownacki, it’d have been a different story eventually. You just can’t fight that way at HW without paying the price.

OK, I get your point. Using this terminology, I hoped his chin would have not got cracked that soon, OTOH he already had absorbed lots of blows before from Kiladze, Arreola and Martin.
Perhaps he really should have fought Joshua and retire. I am worrying about his future health.

Which Ruiz - the 19 stone one or the 20 stone one? The recent Ruiz beats nobody. The dude has gone beyond his sweet spot.

I think Kownacki still has a good chance. He can learn to move around more and still attack like he did - early Mike Tyson style (before he stopped moving his head). He has a good chin, even if it's not as good as he thought it was.

That's why early defeats are often blessing in disguise. Better to change now than before you are too old to learn new tricks.

His promoter has not done him any favours putting him in against all those easy guys

He's got heart but a terrible defence and has been shown up against a mid-tier fighter. Higher up the food chain, he would get blown out of the water every time.
