Ultimately time will tell. Keith gets back, gets some fights, stays uninjured, he could peak again.

That's a lot of ifs, but crazier things have happened.

To me this says the fight between prime Keith vs prime Spence would be a lot closer than people think. We've just gotta see if there still is a prime of either of them (Keith with his injuries and Spence with the wreck).

Thurman isn’t as sharp as he used to be but that’s because of the layoff. But he appears to be a smarter boxer and he still has his legs. If he fights more often, I think he is still a top welterweight and can be highly competitive against any 147lber. I just think Spence’s style is all wrong for him, but a fight versus Crawford would be a classic.

I would pick Spence because of something I saw when Manny fought Thurman. He hurt Thurman really bad to the body, I forget which specific round. But Spence loves targeting the body. And Spence is a high volume puncher like Manny is. Both are always pursuing the opponent. Spence vs Thurman would play out the same way Manny vs Thurman did except Spence punishes Thurman more.

Now we're going to have arguments over which fighters were the same fighters? Pacquiao wasn't the same fighter he was against Cotto as he was against Margarito. We can do this all day. Fighters don't look the same when they are fighting weak opposition. Crawford won't look the same against Spence either.

Collazo also hurt Thurman to the body and, if that's a weakness with Thurman, there's a chance Spence stops him. However, whilst Thurman definitely ain't what he used to be, it remains to be seen what Spence is.

For sure, but if he stays active and injury free and off the burgers, he can **** with ANYBODY at 147.

If we can't get the Pacman rematch, I would love to see him snatch up Bud's 0, that's a real fight right there
