How did he punch him out of the division? It was a close fight. Sanders punched himself out. If you want to see a real beating given to Sanders, watch his fight with Klitschko....Vitali that is.

A bit premature to stop the fight, IMO.

that was a great fight. Rahman floored him twice before that. Sanders was credited with a knockdown when he hit Rahman, and Rahman almost spilled over the ropes.

This reminds me of another old thread in many other forums about how much of a waste of talent Corrie Sanders was.

He has one of the fastest punchers of late. He had decent footwork. His defense was lacking but he made up for it by moving away, albeit awkward. What wastes his talent is his lack of motivation to be a full time prize fighter. He was distracted by his decent talent in pro golf also. Then there's his weight management. Geez.

And if he had a really great trainer like Manny Steward, he'd be more than an arm puncher (like Foreman was). He'd have been trained to properly dispose of his opponents within 4 rounds if he put his weight into his punches and learned to defend better against top fighters.

He could have beaten the elder Klitchko but his fat ass weighed him down. It was a good fight and he took some hellacious punches from Klitchko. Jeez....what a waste.

I bet his golf swing contributed to how quick and well he'd throw that straight left hand of his.
