    Thanks. I'll watch the fight.
I already saw one amateur fight between them (not sure if it was the same one).
But Beterbiev did not look good there.

I can see how amateur scoring may have favoured Usyk more in the past.
And Beterbiev's style is naturally more like professionals.

BUT...Usyk has succeeded in transitioning his style to professional boxing.
    There is no doubt there.

So I really do think Usyk beats Beterbiev if they ever meet.
    Not that they will.
Another thing...Beterbiev will turn 36 in January.

One thing to keep in mind is each time that Beterbiev and Usyk fought, Beterbiev was at a size disadvantage. He was always a LHW, but he fought at HW for the Russians as they had another fighter (Kovalev I believe) fighting at 178)

I guarantee you a journalist asked Beterbiev if there was anyone he’s ever wanted to fight, and that’s how this came about publicly.

I bet there’s so many fights that get talked about behind the scenes, and we have no idea about them because they just never developed into anything more than just casual talking.
        You're probably right.
Stuff gets twisted by journalists all the time, just to 'manufacture' a story out of nothing.
Beterbiev is 36 early next year. I don't think anything will seriously materialize...
Would be good if there was even a unification fight for him in his current weight.

Pretty pathetic that the supposed new boogeyman's biggest claim to fame in boxing is an amateur fight.

35 years old and still hasn't done squat.

This is all these whiteboys got?

You should have watched the video you posted before saying some ludicrous nonsense about a gift decision to Usyk. The part "many considered" is particularly amusing.

Even if this is the first boxing match you ever watched (quite possibly), there is no way you could have reasonably arrived to the conclusion about Usyk being gifted a win after watching this fight.

I think it sucks because people think it’s the boxers that are running their mouths. I’ve seen some people on the forums see a story about a boxer saying, “this guy doesn’t hit as hard as people say” thinking that it’s a boxer running his mouth, when in reality, all he’s doing is responding to a reporters question.

Or even worse, like a boxer responding to a question like, “I liked all of my trainers, but if I had to pick the worst one, I would say ‘so and so’ we just didn’t see eye to eye.”

Then the reporter twists it around and says, “this trainer was horrible.”

But if it wasn’t for that, we wouldn’t get the articles on here.

I did watch it, I felt that Beterbiev won the last two rounds, after losing the first round. Plus, did the KD get scored? and yes, many discussions online center around who won this fight, so yes "many considered" is apt. I'm sorry that offends your delicate sensibilities.

He's just insecure because Canelo ran back to middleweight when someone asked him about Beterbiev.

Apparently that child in his profile picture doesn't have the whitest skin in boxing.

Other people's inability to interpret information does not offend me. It amuses me.
