Canelo really isn't in the same category as cheaters like Miller, Nery, Fury, and Saunders.
Sorry, that's not how it works. You don't praise someone for doing something after they got caught. Can you imagine how ****ing su****ious it would've looked had he not done strict testing? He could've easily went and did the Donaire route if he was serious about setting a standard. Ask yourself this, had he not tested positive, do you think he would've signed up for doing 24/7 testing eventually and when would he have decided to do it? Didn't appear that there was any current impetus for him to sign up.

I mean, he looked better against Golovkin under VADA than he did in the first fight when he could have been dirty.

      That tells me something.

He threw more in the rematch and now he's back to throwing the same amount that he's shown throughout the second half of his career. Quite a coincidental anomaly. Sure, he performed better, he had a lot of time to work on a game plan and most importantly his stamina, it just makes me su****ious.

If he had been using PEDs then you would expect him to perform worse once he got off the gear. Instead he actually performed better.

              - -Didn't fail VADA protocols, Einstein.

Backdated TUE 51-0 Vegas elected to punish Canelo and Golden Boy for getting too big for their britches.

Time to grow up and see the reality of the boxing world.

We don't know how long he inherited those benefits of ingesting clenbuterol though. It's banned for a reason. And the benefits it gives its user is one that would help someone like Canelo. Doesn't matter how much was present up until the fight, if there was any at all, it still got him to a point in time physically, that he wouldn't have got to under normal conditions. His body did look "different" in the rematch, in a way that I hadn't seen him look before. I think he looked lighter? Not sure how to explain it exactly.

Clen isn't a steroid in the traditional sense. It's used by athletes to cut weight. So if you are some one that tends to put on fat it is a big help. Canelo has fought numerous times over the JM division limit. Why?? He did have trace amounts in his system and did fail his test. It looks su****ious to me. Post suspension there were indications that he was reluctant to enroll in VADA 24/7. He did and passed all testing. However an athlete can still cut weight without Clen if he or she is disciplined. Clen is a bit of a shortcut.

he took ped's before the ggg rematch and he looked better in the rematch. what am i missing here? you dont understand how ped's work im guessing. he stopped taking them at some point? well yeah duh thats how it works but your body already has the benefits they dont instantly go away. oh i stopped taking em on tuesday and wednesday im back to normal self! there has been research that shows just one cycle of ped's can change your physiology forever. its just like muscle memory. if you are a bodybuilder and are jacked and you stop working out for awhile then come back and start working out you will build muscle and be in better shape 2-3 times faster than someone who was never jacked. same thing applies with ped's. it changes the way your brain reacts when you work out because of previous exposure to the ped. now it wont be as effective using 6 months ago as if you just dosed yesterday but years and years can go by since use and you still see the benefits in the gym. there are countless articles on this so i dont understand the whole he stopped using them 6 months before the fight argument. its nonsense.
