I agree with one part. Yes we would go broke. However if you don't support the guy who beat the hell out of ISIS, controlled China in trade, weakened Iran, reduced the North Korea threat to almost nothing, reduced taxes and regulations to make the economy the strongest it's been in history then you support or enable the AOC 3 Green far left agenda by default.

People jump to political ideas. it's a personal thing going back to smarter business men get the venues and charge certain promoters more than they want to pay. destabilizing iran and leading them further right is a good thing how? for self fulfilling warmongers maybe. wow the iranian people are becoming more radicalized because they barely have food or medical supplies from the sanctions. what a shocker. a ground swell of support to oust the right regime was building but that has now faded as people see what the usa is doing to them. its not like the usa has been talking about war with iran for decades...its not like they overthrew the iranian democracy already...its not like the usa already backed iraq in the iran-iraq war. after all that they still trusted us enough to sign that nuclear pact. trump is the one who ripped it up and look how he destabilized the region. you talk about htat as if its a good thing?

the economy was strong...but for who? wages remain stagnant for the bottom 90 percent like they were for the last 40 years. and income inequality only worsened which is a sign of an unstable country, universal programs like health care, education, child care, etc...remain unattainable and now the chickens are coming home to roost. more than 20 million people just lost their jobs and thus their health care. other countries dont have this problem because they already built it into their system. usa has to run some sort of patchwork operation short term plan because they simply dont want people to have universal programs because they know they will love them. oh no rich people would have to pay more taxes oh no! the that would cost too much is a total farce argument that is only applied if it can help the average amerian. they just gave away trillions to rich people in tax cuts and trillions more in these bail outs, but we cant pay for things that would improve quality of life? IT COSTS TOO MUCH!

EXACTLY... I am so over the fact our Military is used a first solution. WAR SHOULD ALWAYS BE AN OPTION OF LAST RESORT, once you go to war YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DEFEAT YOUR OPPONENT and walk away. (FYI i am firm believer in the concept of total war).

Right...wtf are we doing in the Middle East, still there in some capacity after 2 decades...with Hillary we would surely have been involved even more there...Syria and possibly Iran would have been popping off...Trump 100% right about the money we spend on military and other aid relative to other countries...the return we get for that support is hardly worth it.
