  • Comments Thread For: Bellew Expects Wilder's Career To Bounce Back Beyond Fury

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew believes Deontay Wilder recover from the first loss of his career. Back in February, Wilder tasted defeat for the first time when he was dropped twice and stopped in the seventh round by Tyson Fury, who walked away with the WBC heavyweight crown.

He definitely would bounce back, he has been given the reality check that his career needs, he still sounds a bit deluded but I think its just because he has been fighting bums all his career. And the first marquee fight didn't go well for him. We all have egos and his definitely took a massive smash. He would heal with time.

If he loses is a similar or worse fashion to last time, Wilder's mental health will be a huge concern.

Of course he'll recover and I expect I'm to recover.

There's no top notch heavyweights about for him not to. I see the trio of average fighters playing it out over the next few years and the odd wannabe contender getting whipped along the way..

I'm hoping Dubois turns into some sort of real deal to at least come in and put some ****e into the division as it's far too stale.

Is there any up and coming Americans??

What game-plan? Is Tony Bellew referring to Flagrant fouls that Tyson Phooey committed against the 'Bronze-Bomber' all night? The rules of boxing were violated so often that Kenny Bayless had warned Tyson multiple times during the fight and eventually deducted a point.

Tyson Fury, is lucky that he was not DQ, this bum rabbit-punched Wilder, rode Deontay like a one-legged donkey and even tripped the champ multiple times when the Gypsy-Bum realized that something was wrong with Wilder's unsteady front leg. I never seen a championship title change hands like that in my life!

There will be no coming back from another loss to fury.

Windmill would then be best to take the money he's earn and retire to Wakanda.

Wilder should be fine, he just needs to get a handle on that bloated ego and take some responsibility for his loss and if he can manage that he could, should come back a bit better than he was.

Some fighters, many fighters with zero losses need to get beat before they can get better. Wilder is a prime example of that. Joshua too, I'm not picking on Wilder here. Joshua learned alot from that Ruiz defeat. Especially about how bulky he was.

                  I suspect it won't

When you get whooped that bad by the featherfisted gyppo it's a long road back
