Jun Paderna Defends Title on 8/26

REIGNING Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA) super featherweight champion Jun Paderna will put his title on the line for the second time against a Thai challenger later this month. [details]

"Hard-hitting Paderna"?

Reading that, I checked his record: only 3 stoppages in 7 wins. That's less than 50 percent in any language.

So Ok, he took out his Thai foe in the first round to win his regional title. But, that solitary incident hardly makes him "hard-hitting".

He's had 6 losses, his record shows, but, has never been stopped. Maybe he should be better called, "Never been KO'd Paderna."

Publicists should read again the simple story about the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" just so they can take better care of their own credibility.
