I’m gonna leave you two weird c***’s to it.

-Duran not a top 5 Latino fighter.

-And Murray and Lemieux equal to Nelson and McGirt.

    Yikes.......

It was more that he kept responding every day or so to keep the thread active...so just the same thread...and then yeah in a different thread I think he brought that thread up, out of nowhere...he will probably let it go with you at some point, but he is 'I need the last word guy' if I've ever seen one.

The weirdest thing was him saying 'I'm not going to read that post you made lol'...and then in a later post responding to what I said in that post lol...I was enjoying it but yeah he is a strange one man...just have fun with it I would say.

I don't think so, but I don't really remember what all the comparisons were...if I said it there was probably some rationale behind it.

Wow, same thing RJJ's Throat did to me to a "T". He literally woke up in the morning for at least 5 straight days and the first thing he does is find whatever thread I'm in and makes it a point to either quote me, directly or indirectly, and write "obsessed".

He then straight up admitted to trolling me and saying he's not going to read anymore of my posts only to literally quote me 30 minutes later. I've never seen anything like it in all my life.

And as for you, this is like the 3rd thread he's brought the topic up in a different thread.

Someone needs to put that dude in one of these; stop him from posting

Click the link in my Sig... It was a silly debate about who was greater between Froch and Calzaghe.. Wrong or right, he refused to address it and hasn't been right since

Yes you did post that. The rationale for you was defending one of your countless gggs resume isn't garbage.

I agree. Duran is one of those few fighters that any of us get to see in a lifetime. And 1980 Montreal would have ripped through many welterweights in history, not to mention the other divisions and titles he won. Truly a top 5 Latino fighter. As great as he was, I can't even imagine how he would have done without partying and gaining weight between fights. He was very special.

Yeah man I just think saying that McGirt (twice) and Nelson being far better than the likes of Jacobs and then even SD/Murray and Lemieux...I mean I just don't really see that my friend.

They were all about the same level for me...which is to say not top of the elite but somewhere below that - I mean who did Buddy or Nelson even beat to be considered far above those guys...just imho there is a bit of nostalgia at times when looking back at past fighters and kind of propping them up a bit, relative to their accomplishments.

Why can't people just keep it real on here man...he said McGirt and Nelson are far better wins than anything officially on GGG's resume...I said I don't think they are really that much better than GGG's over Jacobs and even Murray/Derevy...which would be a bit below the Jacobs win...and then Lemieux would be a bit below that imho.

If people want to say McGirt twice and Nelson once is better than Jacobs, Derevy and Murray (or Lemieux), that's fine...but yeah I don't think they are in different universes...and if you do, well you are entitled to your opinion, but yeah I don't really see it.

But at least don't twist around what I said...or defend that scrub for twisting around what I said.

Edit - and to clarify why it is twisting it around...Nelson would be PW's best official win...Jacobs is obviously GGG's best official win, not Lemieux or Murray...so that is the one to compare apples to apples to Nelson.

I would list Derevy as GGG's 2nd best official win...so that would line him up with one of the McGirt wins...and then probably Murray/Lemieux or Brook as his next best official win if you wanted to line of those up with PW's 3rd best official win.

It is hard as hell to compare different eras, and then on top of that, different weight classes lol...but yeah I am not bowled over by Azumah Nelson's career to say he is so superior to a Danny Jacobs...Nelson got propped up a bit because he was a great African fighter and there haven't been a ton of those, especially at that time...it would be the equivalent of a Chinese good fighter getting propped up in today's time.

Nelson's claim to fame is 1-1-1 against Jeff Fenech man...like what am I supposed to get excited about, honestly...and I mean get excited about over someone like Jacobs who is a top fighter in his own right.
