robberies in boxing are a dime a dozen. this robbery however would later change the landscape of boxing. mayweather would use this bogus 0 to ruin boxing. later other boxers would follow suit with 0 losses fighting bums in order to keep thr 0. in short arum paid for this win and mayweather ruined boxing

        💯 spot on.

18 years and the sour g****s are still at it.
These are the same clowns that yap about Floyd being a “runner” yet he’s beaten 19 champions.

I challenged a few guys I know about that and asked them to pick fights they thought Floyd ran. The idiots picked PAC, Oscar, Canelo, Zab, Mosley and Guerrero fights. We watched all those fights together one weekend and I’ve never heard from them again.
You know how to treat these people. I used to watch Floyd’s fights with Floyd haters. I then decided that we all score the fight as it went on and recorded each one’s score cards. That settled the issue.

The best example of how I always have a problem scoring this fight for Mayweather is when people give him the 11th. He holds his own for like 30 seconds inside against Castillo, and loses the rest of the round, but people say he won it because of those first 30 seconds. I just don't get it.

First fight Castillo lost 5 of the first 6 rounds. Kind of hard to come back from that. Did he finish strong? Yeah but he lost, narrowly. 114-112. People just got excited because Floyd finally got pushed in that fight, plus the commentary/cheerleaders were cheering like mad for JLC. Lol.

Kind of funny how haters just gloss over the rematch. Floyd was injured in the first fight and won 8-9 rounds easy in the rematch. Wasn’t even competitive.

No doubt Castillo deserved the W.
He was going up against Top Rank’s next big star and a guy HBO was promoting big time.
Unless he knocked him down a few times he wasn’t going to get the dub.

You cant say the ***** he didn't, because it was razor close.

I had Mayweather win the fight. But very close.

I should have done that. Man! That would have solved a lot of issues.

Funny thing with the Mosley fight, every single one of then only talked about the two monster punches that Mosley landed on Floyd. Like that was their highlight.
The boxing clinic that Floyd exhibited after was just lost to them.

I scored two even rounds in the fight. I had Castillo winning. Think about those rounds you call very close. They could have went to either fighter. That's why some folks are gonna have Castillo winning or a draw.

That fight was in 2002. So basically, according to your logic, boxing robbery started with Mayweather who was not even a PPV Star then?
Lennox Lewis wasn’t robbed in the first Holyfield fight.
Meldrick Taylor wasn’t robbed when he fought Chavez.
                      Oscar wasn’t robbed by Tito

Boxing was perfect & great and Floyd (not the superstar or PPV king then), somehow changed the face of boxing.

                      Incredible analysis. Just incredible.

Meanwhile, in the rematch, Castillo probably won two rounds only.
And after “beating” Floyd, Castillo then went on to have a spectacular career.
