"I think that he easily went from number one to definitely being number two."

No way is Wilder the number two heavyweight. He was a fraud who got found out, he isn't in the top 5 right now and if he loses to Fury again his career is over.

He no longer has the aura of invincibility and every heavyweight knows how best to defeat him now.

AJ was winning the fight and got hit in the temple. Wilder was losing in every way possible and looked like a pathetic victim throughout. That's the big difference.

I think Wilder's limitations lie within him not being able to develop rather than his people not trying to develop him. I mean, look at how he has often reverted to wild flailing when he gets excited. Can you imagine how hard his trainers had to work to try to get him to stop that? The top boxers have certain learned skills like form, how to punch, how to defend, move and adjust. They also have God-given talent, such as great balance, speed, fluid movement, quick feet, quick hands, are cerebral and have big power. I believe Wilder started boxing much too late to be able to learn vital boxing skills and the only real talent he has is the big right hand. His team likely tried their best to teach him and failing that, focused on him using that talented punch. once that is neutralized though, there is nothing left.

Let's give credit where credit is due.wilder is a murderis puncher, and Tyson figured him out after the first fight,he pressed him,but not every heavyweight is able to do what fury did.so credit to fury,he had the size, and athletic ability to pull that off.wilder needs to learn to throw short punches, and bend at the knees.ehen I boxed I could do it all, because I studyed fighters since I was a kid, and I had rhythm and was athletic. So if Wilder does that he will be a much better fighter.

Fury wasn't a champ still had Chisora & Hammer even Cunningham who are better than 95% of Wilders opponents.

AJ had Whyte (AJ 15th fight arguably would be 50/50 vs Ortiz), Martin , Breazealle (AJ 16th fight Wilders 41st) and Molina (AJs 17th Wilders 33rd fight) thats a million times better than Wilder when you put it in perspective.

LMAO Parkers not a bum he was a young world champ that's never been down in his career, not agressive enough but still beats anyone Wilder has, right now.

There may not be that many top quality fighters but there is a lot of fighters better than the ones that make up 90% of Wilders resume.
It's obvious that you're just not a wilder fan, instead of being a boxing fan.

How did Parker get the WBO? It was vacated by fury and he beat the bum who beat AJ for it 😆 who has Parker beat that's creditable? Takam? Old. Don't say Ruiz because ruiz was the 2nd or 3rd biggest upset next to buster Douglas.

Oh i forgot Charles Martin, another vacated/ stripped belt holder IBF that the great AJ beat for it. Martin was the second shortest belt holder ever 😆 glass jaw. Who has Martin ever beat thats creditable?

You talk about wilder lol he beat Stiverne and Molina and Breazeale in a much devastating fashion that AJ did. In fact, AJ even said that got into his head as he lost to Ruiz because he was thinking of wilder and having to followup that knockout performance against Ruiz.

Breazeale was ranked 13th so he wasn't even in the top 10 when AJ fought him.

Then AJ fought a 41 + old Klitschko for the WBA vacated belt by fury. Then for years AJ dodged Ortiz and Pulev just like Whyte has.

Hmm seems that the only fighter to take on the best amateur class boxer was wilder. Twice. While AJ was fighting fill ins who had a couple weeks notices.

AJs bs resume is just that. A hype job. I'm not saying wilders is great but he fought the same amount of quality guys and held the belt longer than AJ, Parker, fury, Martin, and ect.. Plus wilder started boxing at 20 or something while the others had years on him. Of course you're going to take more favorable matches growing to fight for the title to learn because you have to.. Butnhe didn't dodge ortiz who had probably the most amateur fights out of anyone and that's why AJ and Whyte dodged him. Oh funny how AJ dodged Pulev for 2 years now he's forced to fight him.. I'll take the bet that AJ gets beat.

I can go into Wilders title defense opponents and show you how their ranks and quality beat AJs but i don't have the time. Go research yourself. You apparently are clueless.

Actually it has already been done each opponent ranked as top 5 or top 10 scoring extra.

AJ has a better résumé than Wilder, it isn't in dispute. Fury and Whyte also have had stiffer opposition and have better records. All have fought more high ranked boxers than Wilder.
