Same. At one point I thought he was pretty flat footed. He’d have to step back and reset after all his combos. I still don’t know if he’s capable of really pushing and getting into a high punch count in a round. Maybe he won’t ever have to. But his footwork, defence, has really improved. When Kovalev got stumbled Nelo ended it in a blink. Still I’d like to see him in a fight that forces him to really increase his output. He reminds me of Oscar in that u know at sum point he’s going to take a round or two off. He always finishes strong though. I know the 12th round is worth the same on the judges paper as the first round, even if the commentators always give the impression that the “championship” rounds are worth more. But boxing used to be until someone couldn’t toe the line, so I understand how being the guy winning the last rounds effects the perspective. Beterbiev vs any top guy would make my day at this point. Heck vs anybody.
