Comments Thread For: Estrada Expects To Blast Out Cuadras, Praises Chocolatito

WBC super flyweight world champion Juan Francisco Estrada is on the shelf at the moment, as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic. When the sport resumes, Estrada may battle Carlos Cuadras in a rematch. Estrada won a tough twelve round decision over Cuadras a few years ago.

If Cuadras can get his shit together I don't think Estrada will "blast him out". Their first fight was close and I think Principe can still fight at a high level.

Cuadras is done at the top level, no longer the same man that gave SSR his first loss in his prime and gave Prime Chocolatito all he could handle and gave Prime Estrada some fits early!

I expect El Gallo to end Principe’s career and then we can get to the rematch we’ve all been waiting for and deserve!

Juan Fransico Estrada probably does not know that Sirsacet Rungvisai is fighting former IBF Flyweight champ Amnat Ruenroeng.

Below are the current WBC Superfly ranks.

        1. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
        2. Charlie Edwards
        3. Kosei Tanaka
        4. Carlos Cuadras
        5. Donnie Nietes

The three-weight champ Kosei Tanaka is targeting another WBO title vs. said organisations champion, Kazuto Ioka -- a historic showdown for Japan, cant wait for that.

Donnie Nietes is probably retired, so that leaves us with the English-Bum Charlie Edwards and Carlos Cuadras. I think Cuadras, based off his last performance vs. Jose Maria Cardenas looks ready.

Charlie Edwards will likely sit-out and wait for Tanaka and Cuadras to get out the way so he cherry-pick the next available opponent down the list : maybe Argentina's 11-0 WBC Silver-Flyweight champ, Fernando Daniel Martinez?

One thing is clear, Superfly is always cracking.

I agree. Cuadras is super talented and hasn't been in too many wars.
I think he gives Estrada and Chocolatito all they can handle.

He shouldn't have lost to Arroyo, who is a better fighter than people give credit but I think him and Sanchez might not have been a good fit. Idk.

When they incorrectly announced that he won his fight against Estrada I didn't agree but I didn't complain. It could have got that way. He sure swole Chocolatito's face up pretty damn bad and that fight was pretty drawish too.

Cuadras is always going to be talented but his out of the ring vices are what led to his downfall hopefully he got that out of the way and if so he can still cause problems for any 115 lber he was winning the first half of the first Estrada fight but Gallo came back strong and the knockdown sealed the deal.
