Yeah I thought Canelo fought really well, at times...I was impressed with him in fight 1 as well, and he exceeded my expectations in fight 2 again...never seen anyone hold the center of the ring vs GGG or push him back at all really...I just don't think Canelo is active enough round in round out, probably due to stamina concerns, to take a lot of clear rounds vs other good fighters, especially against GGG who is really active...to me that led to about half GGG clear rounds and about half close rounds.

You know what you're getting into facing Canelo in Vegas though so who cares really...if they fight a 3rd time hopefully there is some more finality to it...though to be fair, even if one gets stopped, fans of that guy will excuse it away...and to be fair, Canelo will be fluctuating a lot with his weight, and GGG is aging so there are some valid things to gripe about....but yeah hopefully fight 3 is more definitive, if/when it happens.

Golovkin is the greatest middleweight of all time but he had to make a deal with the devil to get the big money.

you wouldn't happen to be a dribbling idiot... by any chance?

Golovkin is not a genuine boxing great

you need to learn the sport

his resume is shabby, not even close... he doesn't even pass the eye test

also... there is that little thing about refusing to challenge himself, and avoiding difficult styles

We were cheated from seeing GGG at his very best. We were cheated from seeing GGG's greatest KOs. Because his best wins ducked him. Floyd sergio cotto quillin jacobs canelo all ducked prime GGG for years. We never saw GGG at his best. Shame on all the american cowards who ran away from their chance to beat him.

Of course the rabid fans of either guy will not admit this. I think Golovkin won the first and Canelo won the second though. And both fights stunk and I don't care to see it again. Golovkin is 38 years old. He's been going downhill for years.
Golovkin is definitely older, but ring age is a real thing, and despite Golovkin being on the down side of his peak, he doesn't have a lot of mileage. He's fought only half the amount of rounds Canelo has, turned pro a year after Canelo, and has had an easier path towards superstorm, he was literally carried there by HBO, while Canelo has had to fight grown as men since he was 15, and has been fighting world level since age 20.

By the time Golovkin started fighting at world level Canelo already had 4 years of world level fights under his belt.

GGG needs to stop ducking while he still has some prime left and accept a Canelo deal.

              you sure were...

Golovkin: Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154

Bullshltkin lied to his idiot fanbase for YEARS !!

first, Golovkin was all about that 154-168 bullshyt...

but when those 154-168 fights came knocking, Golovkin refused... suddenly he only wanted to unify the middleweight division...

... and when A GOLDEN WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF to unify the middleweight division... Golovkin refused... suddenly he only wanted the money

Golovkin continually changed his narrative... so that he could continue taking low-risk/low-reward fights... until he cashed out with Canelo

Probably because he knows it’s going to be another 12 round fight that he’s never going to get the decision in because of boxing politics.
