...why??? We've paid to see Spence-Porter. I think Danny counter style matches up much better than poter's vs Spence. Besides, name a welterweight other than Pacquiao with a better resume than Danny? Danny vs either Pacquiao or Spence is must watch. Of course, it's not the Crawford fight we all want, but this is deft a good consolation fight.

Porter had the WBC title and is better than Danny Garcia. He beat Garcia to win the vacant WBC title and also did better against Thurman. Danny Garcia has been at 147 for multiple years and hasn't beaten anyone of merit.

Ummm, Danny Garcia isn't a top tier WW? He's lost only 2 close decisions to Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter.

What Spence said, is that he doesn't want any tuneups (bums). He should be commended. After all that's happened the past 6 months, he actually should be pushing to fight somebody like Mean Machine!
