True, he left a year or so before, but the decline began before he officially left. Not really blaming him though. I'm no insider and I assume many forces were at play. Boxing just didn't fit into HBO's bigger picture and, ostensibly, wasn't the major driver of subscriptions that us boxing fans liked to believe.
