It was a joke calm down, i clarified my position later on in the thread.

For what it's worth, i have Joshua the 3rd best fighter in the division, closely behind Wilder. He's a very good fighter, but he's not in Fury's league and everyone will find that out very soon.

Genuine 50/50 fight imo. Fury didn't look good against Wallin and AJ is bigger, stronger and a better boxer than Wallin. AJ has also been fighting at a higher level than Fury. So not sure why people are writing him off. It's a good fight.

You're entitled to your opinion.

You can't read too much into the Wallin fight tho. It's pretty well known now that Fury fights to the level of his opposition and struggles to motivate himself against lesser opposition.

Fury wasn't at his ideal weight and had to fight with a horrible cut, yet still won every round, and Wallin isn't a bum, he passes the eye test imo, even though he hasn't fought anyone apart from Fury. I'm not saying he's a world beater, but he's a decent HW.

I think Fury will see Joshua as his legacy fight and will train for the fight of his life. He'll have had another Kronk camp and should be in the shape of his life.

If Fury is at 100% or thereabouts, i genuinely don't see Joshua out fighting him or out boxing him.

Obviously it's the HW division and one punch can always change things though.

Joshua isn't as good a boxer as Tyson Fury, but he is always in brilliant shape and is always in the gym, if Fury isn't 100% fit and focused, then the odds of the fight shift significantly.

May the best man win, but my money is on Tyson.

I've never seen Fury fight a decent boxer apart from Cunningham, and he struggled and had to foul to win. Whatever you say about the Wlad fight- Wlad looked terrible that night, clearly was trigger-shy and didn't do anything that resembled boxing. So Joshua would be a real challenge to Fury

Does Fury really rise to the challenge or does he just struggle against decent boxers? I mean he knocked out the bum he fought before Wallin easy enough...

I actually think AJ would be easy to psyche out for Fury so that would be interesting for sure.

Even when he got wobbled it's not easy to tag him despite what say about his head movement. Among all current heavy weight boxers AJ is one that improves significantly fight after fight. Stamina was an issue but in Ruiz II fight he showed that that has been solved. At middle range and inside he will overpower Fury imo.

And he's the best combination boxer at the heavy weight division.

I am not convinced yet that Fury can do what he did to Wilder and Wlad. BTW, Wlad underrated Fury in that fight. That is why he wanted a rematch but Fury went psycho, though Wlad wasn't at his prime by then. AJ has shown that he has more tools that those two. He has developed his boxing significantly and he can mix things up pretty well at this stage in his career.

All said, the outcome of Fury - AJ fight is still a speculation. It will certainly be a very interesting and competitive match up. Both will be fight for legacy and will it all they have.
