Well I guess we'll see when he gets back in the ring
I want to see him fight Crawford but definitely not first fight back after that car accident.

I personally say Mikey and Porter are hall of famers, or will be, when their careers are done...

He was looking at coming back in January, but the car accident as well as this virus have almost taken a year away from him. So even if he returns this year and fights Danny, and waits until next year for Pacquiao and Crawford, at age 31, he would have fought 4 hall of famers.....same as ray Leonard.
Still doesn’t mean anything. He’s never fought them at all. Woulda coulda shoulda never works. Never has.

Spence if you're reading this...STOP giving lame excuse for NOT fighting the best, nobody wants to hear it anymore, it's insulting. Just say I don't want to fight Crawford, then go ahead and beat up Danny and get rid of him but stop saying maybe Crawford but not this year...maybe next year, year after year, after year. He's not going to get old enough quick enough, just move on into 154 were you always should have been.

Well, at this point, Spence has zero HOF’s on his resume’... Porter is a very good fighter for this era, but losses to Brook and Thurman, without any real big wins doesn’t give him a path to Canastota. Danny - same thing. Good in this era, but certainly not HOF. Personally, because of lack of good competition, I hesitate to look at Crawford as HOF worthy, but with his accomplishments across 3 weight classes, he should be a shoe-in. As far as Spence, his legacy needs Crawford, much more than Bud needs him. Even a victory over a middle aged legend like PAC, who has a day-job these days, doesn’t do a whole lot for his legacy. I mean, Manny was considered ancient when he and Floyd fought half a decade ago.
This is not meant to bash Spence at all - I was big on him from the start, but circumstances, and a lack of elite competition has really hampered a career, that I think might be looked at as a “what could have been”.

Spence and Crawford both know when they meet it will be a chess match and they will bring the best out of the other. In my humble opinion, I lean more towards Crawford.
