I'm not disagreeing that mike tyson wouldn't have knocked wilder out in the first round in his prime, but to say he would do it now at his age with 6 weeks of training is just some nut hugger fanboy making waves trying to get some media play.

We all saw Mike Tyson in his last couple fights out of his prime shape, with no movement and only throwing one punch then clinch... Then get gassed and quit. That was what 15 20 years ago?

Let's just be honest about the current situation. Plus all tyson does is smoke pot and sit around on his hotbox podcast 😆 I'm sure he probably has trouble breathing walking up steps...lol

Pound for pound mike tyson is better than any of these current heavyweights when he was in his prime. Lewis and holyfield got lucky fighting a Tyson beyond his physical prime and he was morally and spiritually dejected. When Lewis and holyfield beat tyson, that tyson would have lost to wilder, AJ and fury.

Plus how many times does wilder need beat up by a tyson? I heard wilder almost choked to death eat tyson chicken!!! 😳😅

So prime Kevin McBride would KO him too? Gimme a break. Mike Tyson was great in the 80's. People underrate his skills and ring smarts in the 80's. Amazing phenom. People overate the 2nd part of his career and assume since he kinda looks close to the same guy today he can still fight like he did in the 80's.

Lol this is silly. Tyson is 53 people are really kicking Wilder now that he’s down SMH. I’m not a Wilder fan but this just goes to show you that once you take a loss people straight turn their back on you. They went from saying he’s the hardest puncher ever and the best HW in the world to being called a straight bum by these same so called “fans”.

Deontay will never say he can beat prime Tyson again. But today's Tyson he would beat.

Ike could've been the greatest of his era if he wasn't batshi_t crazy. I'll bet the poor guy still thinks there's evil spirits in air conditioners and drain pipes. He was the only guy to go toe to toe with Tua in his prime and not only take his punches but deal out combinations at a furious rate for 9 of 12 rounds. Tua tagged Lewis a couple of times and he was on ***** street. Yes he outboxed him but it just shows what a chin Ike had.

Whyte? Wtf does Whyte have to do with Tyson vs Wilder? Also, Okolie fought Whyte? Sorry but I don't remember that ever happening.

PS. Okolie is arguably the most boring boxer in the world today. You'd have to pay me to watch any of his fights unless he learns how to keep range properly and hold on less than your grandma going down a flight of stairs.

Yeah except knocking the ***** out of Wilder. You do know he trained at the Kronk for a reason. He is sitting down on his punches more and a guy with skill at that size can do damage throwing power punches properly like Fury did in the Wilder rematch.

Breazeale fight aside, Wilder generally takes a round or 2 just gauging distance and reaction times, while Tyson was always like a sprinter out of the blocks. Combined with his stocky compact frame, this would be an absolute nightmare for Wilder. To an extent you could give Tua and Briggs a similar shot at shocking Wilder early.
Thing is though, father time takes no prisoners; at their age they'd probably risk heart attacks with the ferocious pace they'd need to go at.
I totally agree, he has a chance for a round or 2 but at his age, with the amount of pot he smokes, his lung capacity is severely limited now and he would gas soon if he didn't get Wilder out in a couple of rounds.

Hell no. Mike was so short for a modern heavyweight, with his low stance, head movement and lightning fast hands, he would easily get under Wilder's windmills and catch him with a hook or uppercut on the inside and it would be goodnight. He may not have a chance at his age but in his prime, Wilder would be decimated.
