Dumb comment from Haney. No upside for him saying that. His father had a straight face when he made those comments, he was not smiling or laughing. Haney looks good thus far in his career but hasn’t fought anyone yet. Loma would be a slight favourite against him.

I have no doubt there’s many racist white’s out there, but the real divide in this day in age is more economic than anything. If someone has the means, ie. money, they can elevate themselves just the same as anyone else.

As for overtly “evil” racism as you say, the past actions of white people speaks for itself...but the actions of others, especially people who are dead and gone, doesn’t justify trying to carry it forward. The problem is, there’s plenty of people on both sides of the equation that don’t want to move past it...and worse yet, don’t think anyone else should either. I mean, how ****** does someone have to be, to generalize an entire race of people due to their limited experience in their minuscule little section of the world.

Haney made a dumb statement, but I don't believe he's describing the WORTH of a completely capable race - a race thats proven their worth economically & culturally for thousands of years - Haneys talking about "body mechanics" that white people tend to "settle" for....not an inferior level of being (Hitler on the other hand....).

I always joke that I'd love to train any determined white person to be "slick" in boxing - not that I think their "incapable." There ARE white people SLICK in boxing (I can name em'), but I've concluded not that many - WHY? they're usually comfortable with the "basics" or "fundamentals"!

That is NOT a racist statement. To be an ATG you've got to have more! In a "team" effort mastering fundamentals would be more than OK. "SLICKNESS" on the other hand is "needed" in boxing, and can be "taught" to ANY race - especially if one is "humble" enough to learn it....I'll admit though, some (individuals from ANY race) arent gonna pick it up no matter how much you show em' - and thats OK! Boxing SHOULDNT be for everyone...lol....RESPECT to you for your knowledgable post....
