Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia: My Experience Will Allow Me To Compete At Highest Level, Even At 147

His last ring appearance was enough to rate among the lower tier of today's top welterweights. The next step in mind for Mikey Garcia, is to begin taking on some of the division's big guns to punch his way towards a world title in a fifth weight division. "I'm down to fight anybody. I ain't saying no to any name," Garcia (40-1, 30KOs) vowed to promoter Eddie Hearn during an Instagram Live interview on Friday. "As long as the time is right and we settle on a good agreement, then I'm here for everybody."

Should read : "Getting annihilated by a top guy will allow me to keep losing at the highest level, especially at 147".

              Mikey Garcia

His experience allowed him to be totally embarrassed by the top welterweight by now winning a single round in a 12 round fight.

I like Garcia but his performance against Spense was abysmal. Now he's spouting nonsense.
