No doubt, there is enough delusion to go around, especially these days. The trend is just going towards the US as of late. In boxing you need to have complete confidence, the trouble is when a fighter goes from having a competent ego to having an overinflated ego to the point where they can't accept any flaws or imperfections because they are so convinced of their indestructibility.

The guy came from nothing, had no money, then Eddie Hearn comes along and offers you a fight against a cash cow for millions of dollars? Nobody in Martins then situation is going to turn that opportunity down.
