He then goes on about Plant being tough for Canelo? In the history of boxing and championship fights, when the hell has a whiteboy ever beaten a Mexican? Even a whiteboy that thinks he's black. This would look like Chavez/Haugen all over again.

Crawford is getting into the hof whether you think he deserves it or not. Guys with less accomplishments than him are in. Plant will give Canelo all kinds of problems with his style. Canelo is flat footed and has issues with movement. Plant is fast and athletic and bigger than canelo. He'd give him a real problem. And let's see. What's funny is he had the fight WON! But he decided to go toe-2-toe with Hurd. I'm glad he did but if he would of fought like he always does that's a boring easy win.

Lara is an odd case. He gets labled boring based on some performances but his fights vs angulo and Hurd were both fight of the year quality fights.

I think plant should've been more willing to fight in May, bit I also don't think Oscar had any real intentions of making that fight. He just put a feeler out there. Their plan for may was always based around either murota , saunders or smith. Now I don't think anyone is landing that fight because they'll likely jump straight to ggg in Sept.

At this stage Canelo needs to either win by ko/stoppage or be completely dominant. If it's competitive or controversial on any way, it's a terrible look for Canelo. Ggg is 38 and looks ripe for the ko.
