Think this might be true, Wilder has lost his mind with the excuses. He will get wiped away in the trilogy and disappear towards a career along the lines of Michael Grant
Joshua speaking truth here. The way Wilder handling this loss with the things he is saying makes him look just like a b***h think about it for a second. Assume the costume excuse is remotely true how it looks. Did he not even consider how that might be taken by fans and pundits? Then saying Fury not a real champion? Wilder is now the Amir Khan of the Heavyweights imo. Just a delusional clown who has lost something far more valuable than an undefeated record, the respect of most of his fanbase. Dude is a total joke.
To be honest the excuses from the Wilder side do make him look like a bitch.
At least he lost to the best heavyweight in the division, though.
He did and that cannot be denied. wilder lost to the divisions number 1. But then so did Wallin and Schwarz and they managed to put up a much better fight than Wilder. Thats the real embarrassing bit. And to those that say let's how he does in the rematch, THAT WAS THE REMATCH.
You know, i remember when AJ lost to Ruiz and wilder quickly came out to criticize and shame AJ. Wilder said AJ quit and he was no king and weak or fake and so forth. I've been waiting for AJ to call out Wilder, and first wilder said some words of sincerity towards wilder. Wilder also came back after and said AJ would be at the top again and gave a positive tone.
I was disappointed in how wilder has handled this loss.. He didn't attend the post fight press conference. At least AJ did. Wilder quickly had and excuse that his legs weren't right coming into the fight and that he was already weak from other complications... Then quickly interjected that he makes no excuses and that the better man won and the best must fight the best. AJ praised Ruiz right after the fight.
I just think wilder can't accept the loss. If he can't accept fury was better than him that day, then he'll never correct his mistakes and beat fury. AJ accepted his loss quickly. In fact AJ accepted his loss in the ring as he quit in the 7th and didn't come out of the corner.
Both fighters deserved to lose because they weren't better than their opponents those nights. Both fighters didn't look like themselfs after they got popped in the head in the 3rd rounds. Both lost their legs. AJ quit in the ring. Wilder's corner quit for him.
I give AJ credit for trying to be a bigger guy and not go after wilder. Im sure his list is real as he's been waiting to bark back at him.
Either way i still want to see a wilder vs aj fight.
Wilder lost to the number 1 heavyweight. He lost nearly every round over 2 fights and got put down multiple times and looked clueless. He lost to the number 1 heavyweight like a club level nobody would lose to the number 1 Heavyweight.
