Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder To Visit George Foreman Before Camp For Third Fury Fight

Deontay Wilder will visit one of the most acclaimed champions in heavyweight history before training camp for his third fight versus Tyson Fury. Wilder disclosed during the newest episode of "The PBC Podcast" that he'll meet in person with George Foreman to get some advice on how to defeat Fury, who won their heavyweight championship rematch by seventh-round technical knockout. Foreman and Wilder had "a great conversation" recently, according to what Wilder told co-hosts Kenneth Bouhairie and Mike Rosenthal.

So he's keeping Jay Deas but not Mark Breland?

Maybe Foreman can teach Wilder how to catch Fury with the right hand when Fury comes forward.

It would be good for him to speak with GF and/or Larry Holmes they will show him how to jab and setup off the jab the proper way and to use to jab to get Fury off balance

If anyone seems more genuine to help and knows how to win a title back against insurmountable odds it's george foreman

It can’t get much worse for Wilder right? I mean, there must be room for improvement in a third go? I’m still shocked just how dominant Fury was. I think a huge part of a potential comeback for Wilder must be psychological. Bullies don’t like defeat. Perhaps Foreman can school Wilder on this. He did drop out for a decade.

Just because you put garbage next to greatness, it don't get rid of the stink. Wilder is desperate like his half baked fans

Brilliant move. George is ideal. George has been there. George is wise. Wilder can only be better because of it. Bring in Larry Holmes and work on the jab, perhaps try to box like Larry did when he was hurt. Who knows if it will help to the same degree the Kronk training did for Fury but it will help him make adjustments and perhaps set up the Big punch. Otherwise doing the same thing in the 3rd fight will lead to another embarrasing stoppage

I think its disrespectful to go to george foreman for anything when you need to go to larry holmes about a JAB, MAN! And when you already had HOLYFIELD giving you advice. George is just gonna get you knocked out harder, because he can't make you into himself
