That is a ****** cliche propagated by Americans who think that their country is the be all and end all.
Great Britain is a phenomenal boxing country with a rich history, excellent fighters and the best fans.
Wilder, your best hw, dined on s**t Americans for ages before finally fighting a Brit and getting badly exposed.
Let's not get it twisted America has better fighters than the UK overall. Tyson Fury wasn't even accepted by the UK until he beat Wilder so he fights in America just like all the other big names do everybody favored Joshua over him in terms of popularity.

"COBBLER"! Joe soap in the street never dissed Tyson, It was the press as usual. real British boxing fans have always had the highest regard for him!!....
I agree whole heartedly. As long as safety is the main concern. English boxing might be an acquired taste, but the hometown rivalries get pretty good. Liam vs Liam could stand a do over.
I agree. I like the atmosphere of boxing in UK. The rivalries are fun, I like that time of Tony Bellew vs David Haye, Chisora vs Haye, Anthony Joshua vs Dillian White and more others.

Yeah ok, keep telling yourself that. You know nothing about what British fight fans think.
