    Wilder is at it again

Deontay Wilder on Tyson Fury: I don't see him as a champion

"People that know boxing know that it wasn't Deontay Wilder on that night. I was a zombie on that night."

In my eyes I don't see Fury as a champion," Wilder told Premier Boxing Champions' podcast. "He ain't the champion yet because we've still got one more fight left."

    I wasn't myself. I felt like a zombie.

"I'm still reflecting. I can't believe the things that happened. I'm figuring things out."

Wilder has previously claimed that his ring-walk outfit, weighing 40lbs, tired his legs and contributed to his loss.

The American, previously undefeated in 43 and feted as one of boxing's all-time hardest punchers, intends to pursue his right to a third fight with Fury.

"No-one should be surprised. I am who I am, Deontay 'The Bronze Bomber' Wilder," he said.

    "Why wouldn't I want it?

"He knows that wasn't me. I know that wasn't me. That wasn't the real Deontay Wilder, something was wrong.

"There is more fuel on the fire. This is the final straw."

    Fury response:

"Keep letting your self down, Deontay Wilder. It’s sad."

"It was you I smashed that’s the truth. Just admit it and move on, it’s just a fight you win some you lose some that’s boxing pal.’

Fury took his soul, broke him mentally and physically. Wilder is done as a boxer, he will get one more pay day and that is it.

He is a broken man. Physically and mentally, he got given bad advice by his team, he thought Fury was the easier boxer to fight, instead of fighting and beating the robotic Joshua, he ducked every effort to make that fight. He cherrypicked the gpsy king and the KD in the first fight gave him and his team a false sense of security, that’s why he wanted to “Run it back” instead of going on to fight Joshua, and when Fury decided he wanted a couple of more tune ups AFTER the first fight with Wilder, Wilder would rather announce two fake fights on the eve of Joshua/Ruiz first fight, that was when the heat was coming in fast on him. This ducker deserves zero sympathy and he isn’t getting any from real boxing fans for stopping the undisputed fight.

What a loser mentality. No wonder Fury destroyed him.

All successful people need a stubborn and somewhat ignorant mindset but there is a line where you just need to be realistic with yourself and Wilder doesnt seem to have it. He hasn't owned his performance in either fight, and it's a major character flaw which may not allow him to get his career back on track. He can always land the bomb but at this rate I think you are probably right.

He could have done himself a world of good by just coming out and saying the better man won, but I'll right the wrong.

I am in no way a Wilder fan
Couldn’t give a Fugh about him or the other two
I think the division is very weak etc etc
Yes , I’ll give Fury a tad of respect only cause he’s a very big man and can move and hit
But my point is , what do you expect Wilder to say
Honestly , what do you guys want him to say
That he’s a looser , can’t box , always relied on his money shot
Or that he can’t adjust , that he’s taking the fight just for his pride
              Like c’mon
If that’s the case you tell me what he’s supposed to say at this moment
Keep in mind he has a 3rd fight to go through
I understand if the fight was done and he keeps talking that way , I’ll be the first to jump down his throat but right now , no
So , tell me what is the proper way approaching this 3rd fight

It was obvious to me that Wilder's people were tanking the negotiations out of spite for Hearn and Joshua, and Haymon having his own agenda in mind. They thought getting the Fury fight done was some kind of coup...I always rated Fury and suspected this would backfire.

When Dibella got kicked off the team, Wilder fans celebrated..."that's what happens when you overstep your authority" Delusional

"but but even skipper said he got it wrong"

No - what Skipper said was that he should have established relationships before going in with the big guns...ie these are a sensitive bunch and I needed to stroke their egos a bit before making the offer.

Yeah completely agree with the bold,I argued with his fans before the second fight that he didnt own his performance...most of these guys have now dropped out of the forum anyway
