Apparently Eddie already said Fury/AJ would be a 2 fight deal so that nullifies the face the winner aspect. If that's true then the step aside deal is to nullify the Fury/Wilder deal...not renegotiate it. That why Wilder wouldn't take it....that would essentially remove him from the title equation. If Fury wins both he retires and splits the belts. If AJ wins...Eddie prices Wilder out and spends the rest of AJs career cashing him out against second tier fighters.

Arum has the HW division on lock right now. Hearn can't afford to pay Joshua, Wilder, and Pulev, at the same time. Maybe Fury vs. Joshua in the fall or winter of 2020?

        What’s a guarantee in today’s boxing
There’s no guarantee ( my point will be validated in the end , keep reading lol )

I honestly believe that if Fury unifys , I believe he’ll retire into the sunrise
What does he care , he’s done it before just this time he’ll be unified and have beaten the top guys of his era
I believe that is on Wilder’s teams head
He could just walk away and do his WWE or mma
        He wouldn’t give two fughs

Probably the best post were gonna see on here. I'm a Wilder fan and rooting for him in the trilogy but everything you said on this is the most likely outcome.

Can you really still run the “pricing AJ out” narrative after the $120m 3 fight offer?

It rings a bit hollow to me

Of course Wilder isn't taking step aside $ he doesn't know sht bout business. Turned down 120 mill last yr not signing dazn, ended up making 20m in 3-4 fights. His ego thought he was the next Floyd and his yes men low balled him the whole way.

Even if Wilder took step aside money, then Pulev would have to take step aside money himself. So what the hell, you are going to pay millions and millions of dollars to two fighters to step aside? No need for that. Let the trilogy and Pulev mandatory happen, and then the winners can face off. Will likely be Joshua and Fury anyways.
