If you was to individually test the athletic attributes? Anthony Joshua would beat Tyson Fury in most departments.

A 100m race, long jump, high jump, agility runs and 1 mile pace etc 'He is probably even stronger within most power-lifting movements'

I don't really think there is any individual department which Tyson Fury could beat Joshua 'But Anthony Joshua does not transfer all of those abilities into a boxing ring as efficiently as Tyson Fury'. Anthony Joshua is a great athlete, where as Tyson Fury is more of a instinctual fighter 'Fury as a athlete is kind of one dimensional, where as Joshua if he was not a boxer? Could probably have some success in Rugby etc

The Boxing ring is Tyson Fury's environment, he is in some ways specifically adapted to succeed in that environment like a Shark in the ocean 'Anthony Joshua is not the same type of fighter or athlete'.

      who cares... ?

      Fury is a better boxer

athleticism did not help AJ in the first Ruiz fight

If I had to put money on which of the two could go 12 rounds, it would be Fury

Joshua and Fury are both very large men with a high level of boxing skill. But when it comes to the ability to move about the ring, feint, dodge and generally be fluid, Fury gets the nod. He's especially impressive, given that he's a giant at nearly 7 feet tall.

Joshua's the better "athlete" in that he can probably run faster, longer, and jump higher, and is stronger.

Fury is the more fluid boxer
