what do you consider Floyd Mayweathers top 5 meaningful wins

manny pacquaio.....the fight defined an era and who would be remembered as the best

Diego Corrales....dominated his first A level opponent in their prime and many favored Corrales...fight should have been leonard hearns at 130 but Mayweather showed no one his size in his era was near his class

Oscar De La Hoya.....fight made him the new ppv star and Oscar was very dangerous at this time, coming off winning a title and at his natural weight

Ricky Hatton...2 undefeated top ten p4p entrants fighting in their prime is rare and the atmosphere of this fight was unforgettable, Hatton brought the best out of floyd and fought his ass off to win...man had to get knocked out to quit

Canelo Alvarez...yes he wasnt in his prime yet but he was undefeated a 7-8 year pro and would go on to become arguably the #1 p4p guy after floyds retirement. He is only 29 but showed shades of greatness even as a young fighter

I agree with your picks... Maybe replace Hatton with Cotto who went on to do pretty good things after losing to Floyd... Hatton really didn't do anything

Hatton was lineal at 140 and beat Collazo for the wba belt and went back down to defend his lineage...nothing to sneeze at, nor was beating Tszyu.....

Cotto was someone i used to underrate, it was a toss up between hatton and cotto....Hatton got the edge because he was undefeated, in his prime and full of confidence coming off a huge win, whereas Cotto was only few fights removed from the Margo fight and barely got by Clottey

True, but what do you say to the people that thought Collazo beat Hatton at 147?

they didnt watch the fight.,...most people on this site havent even watched the fights or fighters they speak.....90% of every fight that happened after 1995 i personally watched live or on the network broadcast the next week of the fight in their entirety

id have to score it again but Hatton pulled it out with his aggression, the knockdown and using angles, he realized he couldnt bully the bigger man

he still looked horrible even if you thought he won. in fact all his ww fights he looked horrible. barely beat collazo, ko'd by floyd. ko'd by senchenko. i think its fair to say he was not very good at ww.

he was a pressure fighter moving up, to fight a southpaw who can box and ****, what you thought, it was gonna be a cakewalk, i sure didnt, collazo is a good fighter and has even had success at an advanced age.

at the time he fought floyd he was top ten p4p entrant in his prime.

he was good undefeated fighter.....styles make fights...floyd and manny were all wrong for him and a higher class than Collazo.....Senchenko he was clearly past prime, had drug issues and depression...he wasnt the same from fighter from 2005-2007 compared to 2009

Conor McGregor deserves to b on this list, seeing how only Floyd is the only fighter who's knocked him out !!
