I can see Helenius stopping him again. Saw some people here following the loss thinking they saw Kownacki dominating prior to the KO. That only happened in their minds because it is what they expected to see. Helenius is a mouth breather who appears exhausted from the opening bell in all his fights. The reality is that he was hammering Kownacki with body shots, leaning back and launching Vitali style right hands that he didn’t even need to aim to land.

He earned his cash out fight. Hope he gets it.

I like the cut of Helenius jib and would like to see him take the next step up again.

Don't know who that might be though as most contenders have a full dance card, except for Parker...hmmm

Helenius showed he still has gas in the tank and can provide a stern test for C grade fighters, like Kownacki, looking to make B grade.

The thing is, has Helenius got gas enough to go from B grade to A grade by stepping up to Parker ?

You know what , he really impressed me against kownacki
Didn’t think he had anything left at that point
Then did a little research and discovered that this is the best Hes felt in a while
                  No injuries etc etc
Hey , the next fight will tell us much more where he’s at

Helenius is shot journeyman, he can lose against anybody. Yes, he should cash out as soon as possible.

While Helenius did not dominate the fight, it didn't feel like a lucky punch either. To me it looked like Helenius whethered the storm and picked his moment. And if that's true, he can do it even quicker second time around - assuming Kownacki does not change.

Because Kownacki is just a volume puncher, not a skilled fighter. He doesn't even think about defense. He uses his face for defense. That's a bogus excuse for a 'formula' and he was finally, simply, exposed. When have any of us seen any skilled boxer talent in the guy? I've watched about a half dozen of his fights and have not seen it. Maybe I'm wrong... but using one's face for defense isn't a formula to succeed... no matter that he's a volume puncher. And BTW, when he got up from the first knockdown, until the ref called it, he had no plan to fight back. He just stood there either getting heavily bounced around from Helenius punches, or threw a few punches that came no where near hitting anything but air.

From here... Helenius will move forward, but IMO Kownacki has hit a wall. He'll be a gatekeeper with a few decent wins along the way, then retire fairly well off.
