great post like always DLT...I said it when judah was beatin floyd, the only reason floyd started beatin judah is because judah stopped moving, he was usin his feet in the first 5 rounds but once he got hit hard he lost composure and started fightin floyds fight, stayin right in front of floyd and tryin to counter the best counterpuncher in the game which is like shootin urself, if zab would have kept moving and usin his jab to keep floyd off balance he could have won...Spinks will move the whole fight and i think movement is the way to beat floyd, but the thing that spinks doesnt have that zab did was ko power, so it mite be hard to discourage floyd from comin in when he doesnt respect spinks power he mite try to run through him, but i think this will be a tough fight for floyd, he mite even lose if spinks can keep movin, stay away from exchanges, and put enough pop on his punch to keep floyd thinking...this is a great fight and i think its better then the baldomir fight cause baldy is to slow regardless of how rugged and strong he is...of course i to want to see margarito fight floyd but this is definately the next best thing and after i seen the spinks-karmazin fight i already knew floyd would take this fight i even started a thread about it...

spink's style just is all wrong for floyd. Floyd is the best Boxer in the world hands down, a feather fisted track star is not gonna beat him at his own game, especialy since he really doesn't have a huge size advantage on floyd. FLoyd's gonna put on a clinic in this one.

I Love & Hate this fight so much. I think these are easily 2 of the elite fighters in the game today and I love watching pure boxers so I really love this fight. I have also said that Spinks is the most underrated guy in boxing and no matter who he beats, he never gets any credit for it.

therein lies the problem. Spinks got a gift against Mayorga and the world knows it. Mayorga lost two points prematurely AND was not credited with at least one knockdown (he put Spinks down twice in the twelfth on punches after which Spinks went down). He should not have gotten the first win over Judah. I think Lederman scored it a draw, but he gave Spinks almost all of the first 5, which Judah won at least 2 of. Spinks beat Karmazin in a close fight and that is it.

And Mayweather cannot lose this fight in any way. You simply don't lose when you are faster than your opponent and your opponent is feather fisted.

im in favor only cuz i want floyd to win his fifth title in his fifth weight division, not cuz cory spinks is "such a good fighter".

spinks is a punk and doesnt present a huge threat to floyd. but having five titles to his credit does a lot for floyds legacy.

Spinks is a trinket holder...dont get me wrong he earned it but there is no established champ at 154 Dela is a trinket holder too but IMO the MUCH better fighter than Spinks..yet Mosley beat Dela so he is more credible to be the "champ" at 154 since WW moved to middle.....anyways i can go on and on......point is if he beats Spinks the ONLY THING HE ADDS TO HIS LEGACY IS A WIN OVER SPINKS..nothing more..por favor'

NO...he had a belt. thats it HE HAS A BELT. you were listening to Spinks when he was crying after the fight saying how he beat the man....NO, OUMA was not the linear champ at 154 when Karmazin beat him. he was a belt holder a title holder..thats it. nothing more.
