Bob Arum intends to explore putting on studio shows in Florida or wherever else boxing productions eventually would be allowed. The 88-year-old promoter won't consider going through with such shows, though, without being able to guarantee through testing that each person participating in the event would be safe from COVID-19. Even then, Arum told BoxingScene.com that he doesn't envision scheduling studio shows, broadcasts without fans in attendance, until sometime in June at the earliest.

2020 is a wash for the sport of boxing even if they make fights and they’re in empty studios I don’t expect these managers and promoters to show any good fights at all until a live audience can be there.

If there is safety guaranteed, I support this plan. I know fights without fans suck for some people, plus the quality of fighters is not something that one go WOW! If is safe, I watch whatever boxers fight. Beggar cannot be choosers.
