He has worked with other fighters, like Jessie Vargas and Jean Pascal.

I guess I was asking more of a question while thinking out loud on that one. The talk of Floyd becoming a trainer comes to mind. How does a boxer with alot of God given talent such as Floyd or Roy or even Ward become an elite trainer? How so they teach something that was natural to them?

Are they going to try and re-create themselves or improve fighters? 'I think fighters on the level of Mayweather, Jones & Ward may just fall into the habit of trying to re-create themselves in fighters' My personal opinion is? I don't think that is what makes a great trainer 'Those type of trainers can only work with specific fighters, Jean Pascal was straight up Roy Jones Juniors street, so is Chris Eubank Junior'.

Note: Roy Jones Junior does seem like a good trainer thus-far 'The man has a deep passion for fighting, more so than Andre Ward for sure'.

That's my take on it too. People like Freddie Roach wasnt this amazing fighter but knows how to bring out abilities in a fighter that are there. Sharpen the blade so to speak. Outstanding fighters will more likely than not wanna compare what they did in those situations and mimic it and that may not be possible for everyone. In my experience I personally have to find my own way about things. I may not can do something like somebody else but I can figure out how rmto get the same end result. For people like Floyd or Roy they will have to find another comfort zone and grow with the fighters they train.

That's true. A good trainer should know how to tailor a style to suit each fighter based on their specific strengths and weaknesses.

Rather than trying to force all of them fit a specific mold.

Eubank Jnr is still completely flat footed.

He doesn't move well at all, no real flow or rhythm.

That is why he struggles so badly against decent technicians - he only looks good against guys who fight in the same style he does.

Even against Korborov he looked horrible - getting buzzed almost constantly in one single round.
