Good article to ride the memory to the past.

Excellent article. I have fondness good and beauty of these times. Memorable fights since childhood with gatherings of the family to rejoice the boxing cards.

Some great memories...Doug DeWitt-Tony Thorton 13th round tie breaker and Roberto Duran’s series of fight which became the improbable road to Iran Barkley being my favorites!

Great article. I used to record all the USA Tuesday Night Fights and ESPN Thursday/Friday night fights. I remember characters with nicknames like "Haitian Sensation", "Brick City", "Pink Panther", etc.

Guys like Scotty "Bulldog" Olsen, Jeremy Williams, Joe Hipp, Jimmy Thunder, Omar Shieka, Antwun Echols, Tony Thornton, Julian Letterlough, etc. are still burned into my memory.

Ironically enough, sometimes my brother would record over my fights (after he watched them) with some random **** movie. Good times.
