I'm not going to lie, I love boxing and favour it over MMA, but boxers have become such coddled princesses compared to MMA fighters - and then you have boxing fans who have the gall to call MMA fighters 'bums' because they have losses on their records. NEWSFLASH: MMA organisations only hire the best fighters that were champions in minor leagues, so they are essentially all fighting the best fighters in the world every fight, if you refuse to fight ranked opposition in the UFC you get cut, simple.

In boxing, you fight one real contender a year at best and then go on a bum tour for two or three fights (sometimes more) and that's not including how most have their first 20-30 fights against pub fighters who 'turned-pro' to pad those records for $200 at the local bingo hall. The sport is a joke and has been for the longest time. It's why I have zero respect for boxers who try that tough talk they are accustomed to using but against REAL fighters in MMA who would break them in two.

A lot of fighters who do face legit opposition just get shat on anyway especially if they lose. AJ at HW is a prime example, then you have little guys like Rigo and Chocolatito (remember him?).

'Fans' in boxing are the biggest fanboys ever - all that tough talk and acting like real men but they suck off and idolise the man that is from the same nation, race, tribe, etc. that they are from and PAY for all of their fights regardless of who they are fighting. I like Tyson Fury, but I'm not buying his fights when he is facing that guy I saw lying in the gutter the other day.

The problem is people keep giving them money so the promoters keep making the bum fights. Not to rag on Canelo as he is the p4p#1 and has fought legit comp, but he has also faced a lot of sub-par competition and people still bought it.

Man, the sport of boxing would grow tremendously if the best fought the best more often. There is too much BS going on in the sport and us fans are too often denied the matchups we so hunger for. Money is often one of the main reasons that fights don't happen and I get that but still. We should have been treated to FMJ vs Pac way earlier than 2015. If only they had fought in 2009 when they were still in their prime! Boxing HAS the stars we want to see but they got to get better about giving us quality matchups more often than they do

Nothing's changed though, they all want too much money to take a risk these days. If anything, they'll want even more money now.

I guess the social distancing measures won't be over soon.
But would you accept easy fights when greedy fighters start coming back?

That's the sad reality. They want even more money even though
they knew it's hard for investors to gain anything during these tough times.
