          Against someone who commands respect and forces movement out of Martinez, I expect the same. In other sports you can ease up when your leg is bothering you. In boxing that’s your ass.

              His style was based on speed, reflexes and movement. At 45 it will not be there. He can fool around but unify the division again he won't

                Pretty much your bread and butter
                It’s gonna be bad if one of those knees gives out
                Plus the age , ring rust and the fact he hasn’t been hit for some while

                  This guy was done after the Chavez jr. Fight. Damaged goods for life@!@ so easy even Cotto looked like a monster. Martinez knees will never return.

                    I'll never forget his pathetic "fight" with cotto. I know he was just taking his retirement check & doing it for his family but man the people who went along with it and pretended he wasn't struggling just to stand up on the way to the ring...
