This is in reference to YDKSAB. The AIBA wasn't suspended from the Olympics for nothing. To say they aren't easy to buy is a joke. And to your point...as much as I don't like Floyd and my post wasn't about him but rather him and Roger looking dumbfounded...that is a direct example. If Floyd got robbed...somebody got paid.

The fact that all of the Rio 2016 boxing officials are banned for Tokyo shows its the complete opposite

          Money is a huge factor..

However, I don't see the advantages for a top pro to compete at an Olympics.

Also, there's no money in it at this point in his career. An Olympic introduction to the pro game can help young fighters get ahead of the queue, but doesn't already help well established pro's in the slightest.

Which ever way you look at this , it's a crime to young amateur fighters on their journey.I don't have much time for Canelo with his weight playing games but on this he is right ....no doubt.

Canelo is a hell of a fighter but he wouldnt win gold even if he tried

College football players too, risk life changing injuries.

So do pros. Canelo isn’t afraid,., business decision.

                Thack got the best post.

The average age from all competing countries, by tradition, is 18-22 tops. In fact that's the popular age for almost all Olympic contenders across all sports.

The young guys don't have enough experience to compete in some fantasy point system against pro P4P athletes. ridiculously unfair. HOWEVER, there are many pros whom get no shine or promotion so I can see it was voted for pros to compete.

Some funny posts though. I could see Canelo rib rocketing some youngies which affects the performance all throughout the match. Imagine asking pros to limit power punching, strength, against the novice.

Why do some people think he has an ulterior motive. Maybe it's as he says he has reached the pinnacle in the pros and wants an up and comer to shine in the Olympics. I believe him.

                    Refreshing news article.

I believe Canelo and respect to him to give the opportunity to the young blood.

that's because ''Miguel Rivera'' is a fictitious tabloid name (writer) whenever Boxing Scene reports news from Spanish outlets.
