Up until then Buchanan had a reign of terror. He beat Laguna in Puerto Rico and New York. Carlos Ortiz in Miami, Edwin Malave in N.Y., Ruben Navarro in Los Angeles. He was the baddest Scott I've ever seen, in the ring.
