  • Comments Thread For: Callum Smith: Me & Benavidez Would Be Best Unification Fight To Watch, Stylistically

Callum Smith obviously believes he is the best super middleweight in boxing. He finds it difficult to determine who's number two among the 168-pound division's four world champions because they're such different fighters. England's Smith, the WBA champion, thus would be open to facing fellow Brit Billy Joe Saunders (WBO) or Americans David Benavidez (WBC) and Caleb Plant (IBF).

Violent and painful match that would be....for Smith. I’m all for it though. Look forward to seeing it on FOX for all to see. Should do very well in the ratings post SARS-CoVid-19

That would be a good fight. We likely won't see it, though.

Benavidez is PBC and Callum Smith is DAZN.

He's the rare Brit who wants Haymon's ****.

Benavidez and Smith match up well. Would be a bad ass fight.

Would love to see it. But I'm guessing Smith is going to want 20 million dollars and Benavides to go to fight him in his backyard, and when I say backyard I don't mean a arena or stadium in England, I literally mean Smith's backyard at his house...

It'll be a decent fight overall.... I think it would be an even better fight on neutral ground...

I can see Smith's unification with the canvas in this one, if it happens

Everybody comes to America to make it in boxing. Ukrainians, Filipinos,Mexicans, Hondurans, Japanese. Only the Brits act like they're doing you a favor by leaving home. They claim bias even when the other guy isn't American. They have world champions that never fought outside of Leeds, and get KOd first time out of London.
